Description
Tour participants explore a laneway in Chinatown West decorated with a Chinese Zodiac mural created by the artists Lacey and Layla. This 2019 mural was painted in collaboration with the Chinatown Toronto BIA . The artists depict the zodiac origin story from the perspective of the Jade Emperor who held a race to see which twelve animals would serve as his Heavenly Guard.
