Description

The Kenwood Theatre was formerly located on Bloor Street West, just east of Dovercourt Road. Opening in 1925, it was one of many popular theatres in the Bloorcourt neighbourhood. In 1957, alongside the closure of many independent cinemas, the Kenwood Theatre closed. It is now home to Sistering, a 24-hour drop-in centre for women.
