Description

Postcard for Ladies softball game, Sunnyside Beach (Stadium), 1927. Compared to baseball, softball has a smaller field, larger ball, and no pitcher's mound. In 1926, the Sunnyside Stadium was the first in the city to install floodlights for games after dark.
