Description
Dora Mavor Moore, centre, signs a production contract with Brian Macdonald and James de B. Domville. The annual Spring Thaw revue ran from from 1948 to 1971 and featured Canadian skits, songs, and satires. Spring Thaw played a big role in developing a distinctly Canadian voice in performing arts, moving away from the dominance of British and American influences.
