Description
The Rhubarb Festival became a cornerstone of queer theatre in Toronto. Embracing the 1986 amendment of the Ontario Human Rights Code to include sexual orientation non-discrimination, Buddies in Bad Times Theatre transformed its Four-Play festival to into the QueerCulture festival. These festivals created a unique space for queer performers, offering them the freedom to explore and create new works.
