Description
At the 49th Annual Heritage Toronto Awards, the Heritage Toronto Board presented Greg Heal with the Volunteer Service Award.
A 20+ year supporter of the charity, Greg joined the organization as a volunteer in 2015. Since then he has supported the charity's public programs, whether by providing tech support on walks, filling in as a tour leader, or helping out as an Awards event assistant.
Born in Scarborough’s Guildwood Village and a graduate of University of Toronto Scarborough, he points to these formative environments as sparking his deep appreciation for the city’s varied design heritage. A lifelong Toronto history enthusiast, Greg’s career was spent in the local architecture industry.
