Description

Fading and oft-overlooked "ghost signs" are abundant in Toronto. These signs are advertisements hand-painted directly onto sides of buildings, and provide key insight into a city's past. In the background of this photo, one can see a ghost sign for the former Gelber Brothers Wholesale Woollens & Dress Goods warehouse.
