Description
Ledr. G. B. Jackson, AC, RCNVR (Ret'd), the first Commanding Officer of the Toronto Half Company, takes the salute from Capt. W. G. Shedden, MBE, Cd. RCNVR (Ret'd), another former commanding officer, at the unveiling of the first Toronto Historical Board commemorative plaque marking the site of the founding of the Toronto Half Company of the Royal Canadian Naval Volunteer Reserve, which later became HMCS "York", October 4, 1969.
