Description
This article advocates for the social and aesthetic significance of Davisville Junior Public School, slated for demolition. An achievement of the ambitious 1960s, the Davisville building is an example of a distinctive and English brand of modernism, designed by the Toronto Board of Education's own architects. The article draws on a number of sources and features photographs by Vik Pahwa.
