Merchants Bank of Canada 1915 Heritage Property Plaque, 2015
Description
Architecture firm Hogle & Davis designed this bank building in the Classical Revival style. In 1922, it became a branch of the Bank of Montreal. The symmetrical design of the stone building has an arched main entrance and east windows, decorative nichesm and a cornice with dentils.
