Dundas + Carlaw self-guided walking tour pamphlet, 2018
Description
The first phase of this project launched in June 2018 with the unveiling of ten plaques, making this neighbourhood the first to be comprehensively interpreted by our Plaques and Public Education program, and a self-guided tour. 5,000 tour brochures have been distributed throughout the district, allowing residents and visitors to learn more about the history of the area and its transformation to an arts and cultural hub. The Dundas + Carlaw Heritage Plaque District is part of a series of public realm improvements that will see the creation of a civic plaza to anchor the neighbourhood.
