Description
Tour participants hike under the new forest canopy at Downsview Park. 18.3 hectares (45 acres) have been designated for the forest and work begun in 2005 to regenerate the area. Thousands of trees have been planted since, including: white spruce, American elm, silver maple, bur oak, white ash, black walnut, and iron wood.
