Description
1885
These semi-detached houses were built in the popular Second Empire style by builder Arthur Coleman when this area was developing as a desirable residential neighbourhood. He co-owned the building with painter Thomas Smith. The east side of the building was residential until the 1970s when commercial tenants such as the Alliance Française moved in. Starting in 1920, several architectural firms such as Craig & Madill had offices on the west side of the building. The houses were renovated in 2018.
