Description

Detail of the central triumphal arch of the historic Princes' Gates, built in 1927 to mark Canada's 60th anniversary. Designed in the Beaux-Arts style by the Toronto firm of Chapman and Oxley the gates were constructed of precast concrete—cutting edge technology at that time.
