Description
Built in 1931 as a hockey arena, the last Maple Leafs hockey game played at Maple Leaf Gardens was on February 13, 1999. One year later, the venue held its last-ever music concert: a combined performance by bands Oasis and Travis. The building was formally recognized as a National Historic Site in 2007. Today, it is home to a Loblaw grocery store and the Mattamy Athletic Centre.
