Description
Pride tour participants on the pathway in the park named after George Hislop, one of Canada's most influential gay activists, and one of the earliest openly gay candidates for political office in Canada.
In 2003, he was involved in a class action lawsuit against the federal government to extend Canada Pension Plan benefits to surviving same-sex partners of pensioners who has passed away prior to 1998.
