Description
The 1891 G.H. Gooderham House speaks to the time when Jarvis Street was a neighbourhood for Toronto's elite. This Romanesque Revival home was built for an heir to the Gooderham & Worts Ltd dynasty.
The design in the Romanesque Revival style is attributed to the firm of David Roberts - also the architect for the Flatiron building - the Gooderham business HQ at Front and Wellington.
