Description
Arlene Chan shows an abacus to a group of walking tour participants on the Chinatown West walking tour. Toronto's first Chinatown was established in 1878 and is one of Toronto's oldest neighbourhoods. The Chinatown neighbourhood that is most well-known today in Toronto was established in the 1950s and 60s and largely surrounds the Spadina Avenue and Dundas Street West intersection.
