Description
Tour participants view the statue of Alexander Wood and the accompanying plaque detailing the 1810 scandal on Church Street. Wood was a Scottish merchant who was the centre of a scandal in 1810 that resulted in rumours of his homosexuality, Wood is now considered a gay pioneer by some.
