This view is from the 12th floor, testing and regulating room of the Toronto Main Office of Canadian National Telegraph Co. at Bay and Temperance Streets. This telegraph carrier designed by the Canadian National Telegraphs engineering department in Toronto, was called the 'Jitney Carrier'; it had five telegraph channels to operate between Toronto and Windsor.
