Description
Nurses tend to children in the convalescent ward at the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto. The hospital opened in 1875 thanks to the leadership of Elizabeth McMaster and a Ladies Committee made of dedicated volunteers. It is now among the leading institutes for pediatric research and care in the world.
