Description
Jay Jackson performs at the unveiling of the Club Bluenote and Le Coq D'Or plaques, held at the former site of the Friar’s Tavern.
Jay Jackson is a legendary musician who earned his reputation in the 1960s playing venues on Yonge Street and in Yorkville. Along with his sister Shawne, they led the band, The Majestics, which became one of the leading big band groups around the Toronto area, and a regular fixture at Club Bluenote.
