Description
Hart Massey was a businessman and philanthropist who had this hall built as a memorial to his son Charles, also a talented businessman and an avid pianist, who died in 1884. Built in 1894, Hart Massey hoped it would cultivate and promote an interest in music education and good citizenship, among other attributes.
