Description
While heavily deforested in the past for agricultural purposes, Downsview Park retains many natural features, including Boakeās Grove, a woodlot remaining from one of the homesteads of the Boake family who settled the lands in the 1830s. This area contains a collection of black locust, silver maple and walnut trees.
