Description
Castle Frank, Walter McKenzie, 1870. This watercolour looks across the Don River toward the Withrow site. Indigenous Peoples congregated in seasonal camps to fish and gather provisions. Larger, more permanent villages appeared in the Great Lakes around 1,000 years ago.
