Description
From start to finish, deciding to build subways on Bloor Street West between Dundas Street West and Lansdowne Avenue, and the construction itself, took a total of 14 years. World War I and a recession meant that the issue was put on hold more than once. Numerous legal, financial, and political issues and disagreements arose in the planning stages.
