Description
The Northern Aluminium Company was founded in 1902 in Quebec. Originally, the company was responsible for the smelting process in the production of aluminum. After moving to 158 Sterling Road in 1912, the company began to manufacture aluminum products using the metal produced in their Quebec facilities. In 1925, the manufacturers became known as the Aluminum Company of Canada, and later changed their name to Alcan Aluminum Limited in 1966.
