Description
Tour participants in the Rosedale Ravine. The walk explored the Vale of Avoca, created 10,000 years ago from run-off as glaciers retreated. Toronto's ravines are important to the city's flood mitigation and management, and are home to a great diversity of wildlife right in the heart of the city.
