Description
Church Street is at the heart of the Church-Wellesley neighbourhood. From the 1960s onwards, the area was known to the gay and queer community for its bathhouses and bars. After the Bathhouse Raids of 1981, it emerged as a centre of Toronto’s 2SLGBTQ+ community.
