Description
The Toronto Harbour Commission opened Sunnyside Amusement Park in 1922. Popular among Torontonians for several decades, the Park and most of its facilities were demolished in 1956. In the 1980s and 1990s, much of the lake front area was revitalized for recreational use. Today, the Martin Goodman Trail begins at the Humber Bay Arch Bridge, which lies just to the west of today's Sunnyside Park.
