Description
This 1856 two-storey neoclassical house was designed by Joseph Sheard and built for Sir Oliver Mowat (Ontario's longest serving Premier). The mansion was later occupied by Edward Rutherford, the president of the Consumer's Gas Company. Currently, the mansion is part of the National Ballet School and houses the school's artistic and administrative offices.
