Description
John C. Gilchrist was not only a lumber mill owner and investor in Junction Triangle businesses, he was also Chairman of the Bloor and Lansdowne Business Men Ratepayers’ Association, as well as the President of the Lumbermen's Association. Gilchrist also supported the work of the Royal Templars of Temperance.
