Description
The Dakota (also known as the Dakota Apartments) is an apartment building on 72nd Street in Manhattan, New York city. Completed in 1884, it remains one of the oldest extant luxury apartment buildings in New York City. Designed in a Renaissance Revival style, the apartment was one of the first to be built on Central Park West under the direction of businessman Edward Cabot Clark. Each apartment in the Dakota is unique and offered between four and twenty rooms.
