Description

This High Victorian Gothic house, known as "Elderslie", was designed by Langley, Langley & Burke, 1873-1874. Stepped back from Jarvis Street, one can still see the decorative barge boards and the ornate wrought iron slate roofing materials. Thomas Thompson, a dry goods merchant, was the original owner of this house. It was later the residence of the Hon. Alexander Morris.
