Description
By the mid-1930s, the Guild was drawing large crowds. It expanded its west kitchen wing in 1934 for dining services and added a north side extension in 1937 for more dining space and a gift shop. Further expansions provided additional guest rooms. By the early 1940s, the Guild had transformed into a country inn, surrounded by working artisans and beautiful grounds.
