Description
The CBC and reporters from the Toronto Star and Toronto Telegram were present for the Bohemian Embassy's 1963 Happening, with the CBC calling it Canada's first happening. In truth, Happenings had occurred in Toronto's art scene since 1959, such as a happening that took place in Dennis Burton's studio on Huntley Street. Pictured here is Rasputin, the local Embassy dog well-loved by the pianist Glenn Gould.
