Description
The project team from 150 Symes Road pose for a picture as winners of the the 2019 William Greer Built Heritage Award at the 45th Heritage Toronto Awards. The Symes won for its adaptive reuse of a 1934 destructor (city-run garbage incinerator) to a contemporary event space and brewery, highlighting its Art Deco design, and preserving its original industrial features.
