Description
Barber shops and hair salons are important places to the Black Caribbean community. This mission on the Likkle Heritage Treasure Hunt special event encouraged participants to reflect on the importance of these beauty businesses, places where people can not only get their hair done but where they also share fellowship.
The location of this mission was Roman's N' Care, which has been part of the Little Jamaica neighbourhood for more than 20 years,. This mission at 1722 Eglinton Ave. West invited participants to be the hair stylist to the mannequin, Miss Grace.
