Description
By the late 1970s, disco and rock music could be heard from the Colonial Tavern. But new music wasn’t enough to sustain the Tavern, which closed as a music venue in 1980. Attempts to revive the Tavern included a short-lived dinner theatre restaurant in 1981 and a jazz venue in 1984. The building was demolished in 1987.
