Description
With the support of the Equity Heritage Initiative, Heritage Toronto launched Toronto's first Full Moon Festival celebrating East Asian heritage in North York. The October 1 free event featured food demonstrations and family-friendly activities including a station on how to make mooncakes (using play-doh). Regarded as a delicacy, mooncakes are a tradition featured during this mid-autumn festival in East Asian cultures.
