Description

Aaron Sanderson, board member, asks guests during the Awards Ceremony to generously donate to the Equity Heritage Initiative, to provide emerging historians from equity-deserving communities with mentorship, paid work, and opportunities to shape the narratives of our city.

On stage with him during the ask are emerging historians Jodie Chinnery and Victoria Atteh.

The Awards Ask raised more than twice our budgeted goal due to a generous matching gift from a single donor.
