Description
Black communities and other groups often pass on their heritage and culture via oral storytelling. This mission on the Likkle Heritage Treasure Hunt special event encouraged participants to reflect on the value of oral histories, preserving knowledge that isn't written.
The location of the mission was Studio M at 1672 Eglinton Avenue West and featured a 15 minute oral history session in which a volunteer engaged a Little Jamaica local resident in some questions on their personal history of living and/or working in the neighborhood.
