Description
Tour participants discover the history of Honest Ed's—a discount department store which was for 68 years a landmark at Bloor and Bathurst Streets and popular with newcomers to Toronto. While the Black community had long been anchored in this neigbourhood, the business had a significant impact on its development and that of large immigrant communities in the local area.
