Presented by the Heritage Toronto Board of Directors, the Special Achievement Award celebrates those individuals who have made exceptional contributions to the preservation and education of Toronto’s heritage.
A dedicated community leader, Carolyn King was recognized for her decades-long efforts on behalf of the Mississaugas of New Credit First Nations, and for her work in celebrating and sharing First Nations' heritage in the Greater Toronto Area.
