One of the pre-eminent performance spaces in Toronto, Massey Hall re-opened in 2021 following a multi-year renovation and restoration. One focus of the restoration was the Hall's 93 stained glass windows. Designed in an Art Nouveau style, the windows were created in the 1890s by the Faircloth Brothers, whose shop was located directly across from where Massey Hall stands today. The ornate windows were boarded over in the 1950s to keep light and street noise from affecting the performances within the Hall.
