Description
From the 1880s to the 1930s, Hanlan’s Point offered a resort-like atmosphere for Torontonians, functioning as a “public playground” with an amusement park and stadium. The amusement park closed in the late 1920s. The stadium and amusement park were demolished in the 1930s to make way for the island airport.
