Description
Among the three juried categories at the Heritage Toronto Awards, the Public History category recognizes multimedia and collaborative projects designed to engage, challenge, and educate the public. In 2024, from the 25 nominees, the award went to "Casey and Diana", a theatrical production which animates the stories of the volunteers, nurses, and clients of Casey House, Canada's first free-standing AIDS hospice, and the day when Princess Diana visited.
