Section of Humber Bay map, 1935–1937, c.1991, showing the location of market gardens. The Township of Etobicoke renamed Queen Street “The Queensway” within its borders in 1941. Councillor Horace Smith, who owned a hardware store in Humber Bay, led the name change.
