Description
Lawn bowlers at Lytton Park, 1935. Edward B. Stockdale, an investor and lawn bowler, owned this property by 1912. Stockdale laid the original bowling green and built a small clubhouse here. In 1912 the North Toronto Lawn Bowling Club was created and Stockdale leased the land to the club for $5 a year ($130 in 2022).
