Description
Shim-Sutcliffe Architects designed this unique urban house and studio for the architect and historian Robert G. Hill. The project was built on two properties using limited resources, and excelled in its innovative and detailed design. Noted for their use of wood, natural light, and landscaping, the house and studio received Governor General’s awards in 1997 and 2010. Designated in 2021 under the Ontario Heritage Act.
